August 29, 2010- Tucson, AZ- After watching Bryce Cotton (Palo Verde High School, Tucson, AZ) play in the Arizona JUCO All American Camp last month in Phoenix, AZ. Keno Davis pulled the trigger on Arizona's best senior prospect available.  Davis is the head coach of Providence College a member of the Big East conference.

 

Cotton will sign this week and enroll in class at Providence College. "I took a official visit this past weekend and liked the campus and staff. I really felt good and the players took me in" Said Cotton. 

 

Cotton also gained interest in July from Oregon, St. John's, Illinois and California State Bakersfield. 

 

"He was well overdue, Said Vern Holmes (Cotton's AAU coach). Bryce is a very athletic point guard who will do well in college. Most of all Bryce is a good kid and will adjust to the Big East just fine. Several schools missed out." 

 

Cotton played this past July with the Arizona Dream Team and led them to the Championship of the FAB 48 bronze division. Cotton averaged 23 ppg in the FAB 48. During the Arizona JUCO All American Camp he made the Top 20 games and was rated by most scouts as the Top Senior Prospect available.
